Born in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1877, Theodore Scott Dabo did paintings that were exhibited in Paris at the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs and Ecole des Beaux Arts, and also in London. He traveled extensively and studied painting independently but ceased painting owing to irreconcilable views of teachers and his own ideas. He returned to New York in 1900 and studied natural law and optics. (1877-1928)
