Art appraisals are an important part of owning art, and for protecting your art investment.
You should always keep handy a current art appraisal of your artwork. Art values can change quickly and you will need to adjust your insurance coverage to protect your possessions from loss or damage.
Also, you will need a current art appraisal whenever your art is involved in insurance claims, charitable donations, when selling the art, or for equitable distribution.
ArtKabinett can provide fine art appraisals for insurance purposes only. Appraisals are not to be used for tax purposes.
Once we have received an image of the artwork, any known provenance information, artist name, title, date, dimensions, and medium, appraisals will be completed in approximately 7-10 business days. The service fee is $200 per artwork.
