Caribbean Fine Art Fair 2012

NEW YORK, NY, February 13, 2012 – Following on the heels of its popularly and critically acclaimed inaugural staging, the second edition of the Caribbean Fine Art (“CaFA”) Fair with over 35 exhibitors of paintings, sculpture, photography, drawings, original limited edition prints and new media exploring the cultural traditions of the Caribbean, will be staged at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, Two Mile Hill, Barbados, West Indies. 

The CaFA Fair opens Wednesday, March 7, 2012 with a Gala Reception and the presentation of the Caribbean Luminary of the Arts Award to internationally recognized, Barbadian-born, Ras Akyem I Ramsay, and runs through Sunday, March 11, 2012.

The exhibits will feature works by leading Caribbean artists from countries including Barbados, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Nevis, Puerto Rico, Trinidad & Tobago, and U. S.Virgin Islands, with styles ranging from the intuitive self- taught to the classically trained.
