Fendi Dresses Up Miami Skyline

Miami -- The trend of Italian fashion firms co-developing luxury condominiums continues, with Fendi on July 28 becoming the latest brand to announce its first foray into a branded real estate project — partnering with the Château Group to develop Fendi Château Residences, a new and exclusive 12-story waterfront condominium building located in Miami, Florida two blocks south of The Bal Harbour Shops.

Art collectors of Art Kabinett social media network will have no problems hanging art in one if these impressive apartments.

Slated for completion in June 2016, Fendi Château Residences is located at 9365 Collins Avenue and is characterized by an undulated architecture, designed by Miami-based firm Arquitectonica, that mimics the waves.

The property comprises 58 oceanfront residences and penthouses ranging in size from 3,300 square feet to more than 7,000 square feet, with prices from $5 million to $22 million.

The 12-story building should be in good company alongside the Porsche Design Tower on Collins Avenue, while probably vying for buyers with Residences by Armani/Casa, Armani's latest luxury residential tower project in Sunny Isles Beach, Miami, also slated for completion in 2016.

Boasting 10-foot ceilings, sweeping views and glass-railed terraces, the homes in Fendi Château Residences will be characterized by bespoke designs and feature distinctive materials such as streaked woods, smoky glass and bronzed reflections.

The common areas will include a private restaurant with a full chef’s kitchen; lounge with gourmet kitchen; library; business center; ballroom; kids club; private cinema; state-of-the-art fitness center overlooking the ocean; bicycle storage; multiple beachfront pools with cabanas; reflective ponds; spas and Jacuzzis; and a relaxation terrace with aromatherapy.

Residents also have access to five-star, white-glove services, including a 24-hour multi-lingual concierge staff, beachfront and poolside service and a doorman and valet.

“Fendi Château Residences further consolidate our ties in the luxury private property sector, in particular with a qualitative partner like Château Group. It fully expresses the codes, history and savoir-faire that characterize Fendi; a perfect example of cutting-edge design, experimentation and timeless expertise,” said Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO of Fendi, in a statement.

Also, residents will have the option to include Fendi Casa decorative elements throughout their apartment. No word, however, on whether those include the famed Tokidoki or impending Barbie dolls of Fendi creative director Karl Lagerfeld, or his cat Choupette.
